NotesGenowefa discovered the family tree on the Web in 2004 and emailed her second cousin, Joseph Lasica. She also wrote to us by letter in December 2015.
Genowefa’s Americanized name would be Eugenia or Jeannie. She is a widow. Her husband, Czeslaw Bloch, died in a swimming accident (we believe) in 1988 in his 30s. Genowefa has two sons, Michael, who travels and has also been in contact with Joseph, and Roman, who was recently married. They live in Kwidzyn in northern Poland.
