Short bioRae was the second eldest of seven children. She and Dick had three boys. Her granddaughter Jan Schweitzer recalls: “Rae could make the best apple pie. She taught some of her grandchildren how to blow bubblegum bubbles. She was also an avid reader.” Rae was Joseph Lasica‘s first cousin once removed.
